Agreed, especially now. It’s hard to explain all of this and I feel embarrassed by it, in some ways. Though this article outlined all his worst qualities in one spot and very few of the good ones, which I fear makes ME look either bad or plain stupid for being with him. LOL.

But he was so sweet and charming and boyish in the beginning. He once told me he wanted to marry someone like Donna Reed and have a perfect 1950s marriage and at the time, I thought it was so adorable and old-fashioned. I didn’t realize that he was totally serious about the 1950s thing.

And his previous GF had cheated on him so I thought the little peeks of his misogyny were just unprocessed anger with her that he would eventually get over — but the more he came to feel comfortable with me, the more he let it out and it was definitely NOT pain from a previous relationship.

Oh goodness. If I’d only known then what I know now.

Also, dating in my county is doomed to reveal a closetful of ammo about 85% of the time. ;) Hence why I’m still single. I learned my lesson.
