AGREED! I didn’t even want to dive into the whole unmarried/never married thing because it’s a whole other ballgame, but you are correct. And that goes for all genders. I have my own biases about never-married men, wondering if they don’t want responsibility and will always be running out the door.

And yes, absolutely, the family focus in this culture makes it hard to know where people like me fit into that. Which is hilarious because I’m so family-focused — just on a different part of my family, not one that I made, myself.

I’m very interested to see how things are evolving with the ways families are coming together — especially with the trend of friends getting together to raise kids or a couple and one friend. That’s so beautiful to me.
