Agreed. I think what “doesn’t need Roe,” as you said, is having a government that acknowledges a woman’s human rights. Period. (Which it would have to do for BIPOC, as well, and the LGBTQ community.) That’s really what it comes down to in my eyes. Not one law or ruling that protects one part of our humanity — but a total acknowledgement of the human rights of all people who aren’t white, cis, hetero, and male.
