I am seriously mulling on this and have tucked this into my notebook on future ideas for articles. I’m not even ready to fully respond yet because I need to do some thinking.

I see you are a tech writer. But clearly, you have the heart and voice of a poet. Have you thought about writing here (or somewhere else) about love? Your words are powerful, vulnerable, and captivating.

As for defeat…I think (just one woman’s opinion) that’s part of the human condition. I feel defeated about half the time, which I think is fair. We’re always moving across the spectrum of feeling and experience — can’t be happy all the time, so half happy seems about right to me. Same for defeat. Half. Those dips inspire me to build up my energy and pick up my shield for one more try…
