Ena Dahl, yay!! I do want to say that I think it’s totally appropriate for a woman to protect herself with a pen name on the internet if she feels that is necessary. The fact is, we still live in a society that is not completely safe for a woman who is open and sexually liberated. I’m here speaking about it to counter that, but I very carefully guard my identity. I hope one day that all of us will be free to speak up, to share with honesty, to speak boldly, to express our desires, etc., without fear of how others will respond.

But I am exploring ways to “out” myself with people that I already know and trust and I think that’s important — and a safe way to take steps toward embracing our wholeness as women.

It’s funny to me that so many people I thought would describe me as a “good girl” have been the ones to say, “I’ve always known you were saucy. I’m so glad you’re letting that out now!”

Anyways, carry on, be brave, be you! But also never apologize for protecting yourself in any way you need. I’m supporting you!
