Everywhere. Right here. At least 75% of my female circle. I mean, I hate to put restrictive labels on things, but look for blue. That’s a HUGE generalization, but you will typically find that liberal-leaning women are more likely to challenge gender roles and expectations than right-leaning women. Right-leaning women are often (again huge generalization and not always true) committed to patriarchal religious beliefs in which they cannot initiate dates and might not want to engage in premarital sex. And again, there’s no judgment there. We’re all different and that’s great.

And if you find yourself in the company of women and are having an open, respectful conversation with them, don’t be afraid to ask them their thoughts on the matter. Note that I said “ask,” not “challenge.” Do some sleuthing within your own circle to find these women.
