Fuck yes, Benjamin. This is brilliant and beautiful. I have had many male friends tell me this exact same thing — that they hear this casual sexism, bigotry, homophobia, and are expected to agree, to back up the words of the person speaking. I have also seen/heard this on the fringes of conversations at events or at the workplace. And I’ve found there are a lot of men who tell me how woke they are only to show me deeply-rooted sexist beliefs as I get to know them…
