FUUUUUUUCK this is epic. I feel this so hard. I am less and less able to identify with womanhood these days because that term is so conflated with "femininity." And I am not a feminine woman. I am not a real woman by our society's standards. And when you are, you have no choice but to exist within the scope of the male gaze. I don't want to give up my womanhood, but I also don't want to be a woman in the way I'm told to be a woman anymore.
