GO, YOU! Woo hoo! I quit teaching ten years in, pre-pandemic. Couldn't take it anymore. I ended up doing pretty much the same thing at an educational nonprofit with the same "do more for less" mentality and I burned out in four years. I had a good nest egg, but nothing planned - I just quit. I couldn't do it anymore. And here I am, five years later, doing just fine. It's a struggle to make ends meet but I wouldn't have it any other way.
