Have you read Sacred Pleasure by Riane Eisler? She talks a lot about the eroticization of power over and violence against women and that the patriarchy as conditioned men to become aroused and sexually fulfilled by the act of hurting (emotionally and/or physically) women. It doesn’t surprise me at this point. Feels right on point with my experiences.
