Helen, I love your perspective on this. I mostly kept my head over it because this has happened to me before (though on a much smaller scale) and I know it will keep happening again and again and again. I think I only really lost my shit when I realized they had stolen my photography, as well - shots with my face, without my face, my nudes, etc. That did not sit well with me.

But again...it'll just keep happening. I'm trying to do exactly what you are suggesting - keep my eye on the goal, which is to keep writing and building a loyal audience who will buy my work legitmately.

I'll probably check around from time to time and send out letters from time to time, but you're right - it's not worth a major hassle, especially at my level.
