I absolutely love this. You are lucky to have had a mom like that! My mom was very entrenched with the idea of motherhood as the pinnacle of womanhood, though she didn’t PUSH it on us. But how could we grow up hearing her say that and NOT strive for that?

I still have my moments…sometimes I think I would love having a kid. But…there’s not much I’m willing to do about right now. Which I guess is an answer in itself.
