I am going through a deep period of grief for the fact that I never had a lover who would have sex with me on my period, except for someone who was only interested in a one night stand, and same for oral sex. And not only that, but they shamed my body so intensely that I didn't WANT to do either. Breaks my heart to think of and I'm so glad you wrote this for that very reason. xoxo
