I could add a lot of these to my own list. I LOVE it.

You know what I really loved was that when you said there were two versions of you, one was the monogamous mother who didn’t do this stuff, and one was the monogamous mother who THOUGHT about doing this stuff. I thought that was so adorable because I expected you to say the other version of you was a hot sex goddess who let herself pursue everything on her bucket list with abandon. I absolutely loved that you were basically the same woman in both versions but one had permission to fantasize.

I think that’s so enlightening for us women — that it takes us a while to even give ourselves permission to THINK about this stuff. That’s the first step, really. And in some cases, that’s the ONLY step we need to make. To just allow ourselves that private freedom, whether we share it with another or not.

Kudos to you for doing that, AND sharing it with your husband, AND sharing it with Medium. HIGH FIVE!!!! I know how brave that is. I had never published anything like that when I posted mine last summer. It was scary as hell. But now it’s just something I’ve learned to embrace talking about. And I filled mine with items that I think are totally doable because I am determined to cross them off my list! ;)

Way to go!!! I love seeing women embrace their desires, even if they are just fantasies. Hellz yeah!
