I could make the same argument that those food books just reflect his experience, background, and perspective and he happens to be a financially successful white man. No one’s perfect. Isn’t it nitpicky to call out his classism?

Or does it make more sense to ask a journalist to be more self-aware of his own biases, including sexism and classism?
