I debate this constantly, as you can imagine, considering how much I write about my life. I know not everyone involved would tell the same story, but that’s just the way humans work. Even in the same situation, people will come out with different experiences and perspectives. And I think it’s okay to tell our stories, anyways. It might not be their truth, but it is OUR truth, and that’s equally valid.
