I do have a few friends who really, really want to post nude photographs, too, but I think they talk themselves out of it the same way my mom has, by acknowledging the professional danger of doing that. Which is valid. I’ve also been called an exhibitionist by some because of this, which is funny because I think I might have some small exhibitionist tendencies, but NONE of them feel related to my photography.

In fact, many of my professional fantasies about my photography involve DE-sexualizing the female body. I think some people just find breasts and the desire to expose breasts deviant to some extent. For me, I just want to be able to take my top off when I mow the lawn and not have anyone freak out. :)
