I do not remember you or your comment or “immediately” blocking you. I get thousands of hate comments every week so when I log into TikTok, I scroll through and block very, very quickly in order to protect my peace of mind and remove those who might antagonize or threaten others in my comment sections.

Because of how quickly I do this, I’m sure I have accidentally blocked harmless people from time to time. I’m sorry if that is what happened here. I don’t think people realize the influx of comments, emails, and messages content creators and writers receive on a daily basis. It is overwhelming to manage.

That said, even if I had deliberately blocked you, it’s my account and I have the right to manage it in a way that feels safe for me. Blocking people isn’t the same as “silencing” them. Further, anyone who looks at my posts can see there are countless people who disagree with me in the comment sections. If I truly blocked everyone who disagrees with me, those comments would automatically disappear.
