I don’t get it either…and yet I do. There’s something about it, particularly among white women, that is very seductive. Like “do all these things and you will get the princess fantasy you always wanted.” Of course, eventually you grow up and realize that doesn’t exist…but the influencers keep pushing it. I suspect some of them are also seduced by it and their own perception that they’ve “made it.” And then…real life happens. :)
