I grew up not knowing my half-brother and -sister because my dad and his first wife were estranged. I literally only started getting to know them ten years, after my parents got divorced. This has inspired me to write about that. There wasn’t the secrecy in my family or infidelity, but I identified with this story very strongly. Thank you.
