I have yet to see any data that proves that there is equality in hetero households, which is why that article shocked me so much. It seems as though her assertions were based on what her clients have told her. Which isn’t enough to make her conclusions into facts.

From what I have observed, I have found a terrifying majority of men to have deeply entrenched sexist beliefs that they don’t want to examine or surrender. In many cases, I don’t even think it’s conscious or malicious in nature — it’s just stuff they’ve been taught to believe are facts and their entire worldview is built around that. I don’t think it even occurs to them that there could be a lot of sexism under the hood. (In women, too!)
