I really think this is a key to everything. If we stopped looking to transcendence, to the afterlife, THIS life wouldn't be messed up. We would hold what we have NOW as sacred. It breaks my heart that we've been trained to look elsewhere and use up everything around us.

And your point about ducking/fucking is spot on. I have often wondered about this. Our phones learn what we type - my phone didn't used to offer "perimenopause" when I typed P-E-R-I, but after a few times, it started to guess that. But never, ever does it autocomplete "fucking" or "fuck." Clearly, that is deliberate censorship. Why?
