I started watching this show YEARS after its height - I think it was 2016 when I started binging it on Netflix. The only reason I watched it was because it had a lot of seasons and I was going through a breakup and needed noise on in the background at all times to remain sane. I occasionally got immersed in storylines, but found it all very overwhelming and melodramatic to the point of being painful.

When I caught up to it, I could only make it through half a season before I gave up. I'd kinda had it at the point where they randomly killed off Andrew, threw Jackson and Jo together...I mean...I felt like the writers had lost interest in their own show. LOL. I don't know what's happening these days except for what you mentioned here. I had hoped to see it through to the end, but I don't think it's ever going to stop. ;)
