I think all your points are absolutely valid.

To answer your question “What then?” I mean…it really depends. If sex is a dealbreaker, then leave. Admittedly, I’ve never been married, so maybe I can’t really speak to this, but I don’t understand why so many people stay in marriages that make them unhappy. I think sex is a dealbreaker for many people — and that that’s totally okay. I think we shouldn’t shame men for leaving a marriage if he’s sexually unsatisfied (assuming he addressed the issue and tried to do his part of improving the situation).

But ultimately, it IS a difficult and confusing situation, for sure. And as you said, no one is perfect. We can only do our best.
