I think so, too, but in the cases I’m pondering these days, there are very specific circumstances that I didn’t want to detail in a public story that have made me feel like it’s not a safe friendship space. There are things that have to be present in that space for me to feel like I’ve got a friend, and I’m not so sure those things are present.
