I think you touched on something that needs to be addressed further (as a culture): the fact that we have changed the dynamics of parenthood in the modern world, limiting it to two parents with zero support. I think we have cut out the "village" and that that was a huge mistake that is creating a burden on parents that doesn't need to be there.
