I thought about this after my breakup. I knew it would take me a while to get there, but I did. I knew he was totally disconnected from his emotions and actions and that’s GOT to be painful on some level. And I knew the other girl, despite how cruel she had been to me (blaming me for my ex double-dipping), was just a kid (just over 20) and a single mom and probably scared and terrified and I knew eventually, he would probably do the same thing to her… I just realized it all wasn’t worth the pain and that the best revenge I could have was to be happy and amazing. And that’s what I did! ;)
