I totally get that. And I think that’s why a lot of women lean toward adding the “by choice.” It makes perfect sense to me — it’s annoying and frustrating that we aren’t considered the sovereign of our own lives.

I will never fault a woman for saying “by choice,” but I wish we didn’t have to. xoxo
