I wanted to go deeply into that subject, because I feel there is more story there — about why we don’t count immigration even though US immigration rates are canceling out the negative effects of the falling birth rate. And yet people are still concerned about that falling birth rate… Hmmm…. It’s just a HUGE topic and I realized it wouldn’t even fit in this piece.
