I was thinking of you when I wrote that part. It’s so infuriating because it’s well known at this point that there are so many medical biases when it comes to gender, race, and weight, and yet…I don’t see any effort to make a change around that. I have yet to encounter a doctor who was aware of these very standard biases and making an effort to overcome them.
