I wondered about that, too! I figured if this is true, it probably reaches its fingers into lots of non-dominant demographics.

I’m still trying to explore this — as you said, I don’t really care about fantasies, in general, but I hate the idea that mine seem to have been instructed by patriarchal values. I think I’d say it’s only something to worry about if one feels uncomfortable with it. And in that case, the “worry” can hopefully be translated into curiosity — curiosity to explore more fantasies that buck patriarchal tradition.

I’m still pondering this one. :) Thank you for your perspective, though — I really appreciate hearing that. It adds to the story for me.
