If I had time, I would leave an essay of a response here, because this is all so right on. But for the sake of brevity, I'll say one thing: I watched the final season of Big Bang for the first time last year and I was so upset about the Penny pregnancy. OMG! They spent years giving her the chance to stand up and assert her own desires and then suddenly had her do an about-face without any explanation? I should've expected it, considering how much they made her friends and family gaslight her about her decision in the first place. Absolutely ruined that whole storyline for me. So disappointing.
