I’m actually about to publish a piece about this. There is emerging research showing that hormones do not play the part that we think they do. Whether it’s sexual functioning or brain functioning, there is very little difference between the sexes. Most of what we’ve come to believe was true about the biology of men vs. women is based on biases and other bad science. (You’ll see what I mean in my next article!)
