I’m so scared of this, too. You know, my dad’s father had a good, long life, even though it ended in dementia. He lived at home with his wife until he was in his 90s and when we moved him into assisted living, he just abruptly died a few months later. Then there was his mother, who went on for five years in a wheelchair. Nightmare. And then my dad, who changed the whole story — stroke in his late 60s and now this…? I don’t know what genetics holds for me. But it all scares me. I just hope my kidlets will love Auntie enough to take turns visiting me. And thank you for the kind words. Love you. xoxo
