In engaging with the gun control debate, I've found all new levels of misogyny out there. The vile things men say about women, TO women hundreds of times a day is why I do not believe in misandry. It's an entirely reasonable emotional response to hate one's abuser. I have yet to enter a man's comment section EVER and call him a useless asshole. But goddammit, hundreds of them think it's appropriate to do that to me (using misogynistic insults, I might add).

I could literally write another essay in response here, but I'll spare you and just say YES YES YES.
