I’ve only had about five doctors over the past two decades who didn’t take issue with my weight, and at this point, I’m grateful for the ones who don’t, even though we shouldn’t have to be grateful for such a small dignity. These are the two worst experiences I’ve had, but thankfully, most of the rest of them were moderately offensive, and a small handful weren’t an issue at all. But yeah, that doctor calling me obese, especially when I was in the thick of my eating disorder - that was appalling.
