Many Women Have Opted Out of Dating — So What’s the Next Step in Our Face-Off with MAGA?
Are we staging America’s 4B movement…or do we need another perspective?
Remember when men said they were “going their own way?” That they had started a whole movement to completely remove themselves from the company of women (except for visiting sex workers from time to time)?
As we’ve learned in the five years since this “movement” started peaking, it was all a big bluff. And the men participating were hoping it would work.
Once they realized women were unbothered by this (because men who hate women are — surprise! — not desirable partners), they’ve gone back to their usual tactics: namely, the attempt to punish all women, and create a society in which women would be forced to rely on men.
I don’t think they understand yet that this isn’t going to work, either. We are not going to budge.
Women are healing. We are in therapy. We are learning what abuse looks like. We are coming to understand that our culture explicitly normalizes and promotes abuse.
And we are not going to participate in our own degradation anymore.
