Michael Murphy I applaud you for being a champion for your desire — your healthy desire, as you said. There is no shame in wanting a healthy sex life for any of us, and we should never be made to feel so.

I am truly convinced that a high percentage of low libido in women is due to the shame we are carrying around. But we need a network of people to support us in the process of releasing this shame — the freedom to practice spiritual beliefs that support our sexual empowerment, a social circle that doesn’t see sex as a shameful activity, and patient lovers who encourage us to strip off our armor, one tiny piece at a time.

This is not an easy process — and for many, it can be terrifying. The more we can listen to one another and help one another, the more we can achieve the goal, which to me is NO MORE SHAME! :)

Keep talking about it. Keep those conversations open. Find the people who share your correct perspective that human sexuality is healthy and normal.

It’s my deepest hope that we will all get there someday!
