My favorite thing about this is your openness about how much time you spend on work and when you start. I am still detoxing from twenty years of clock-punching and even two years into my writing journey, I feel guilty that I wake up at 8AM in the winter. As a teacher, I always had to wake up at 4:30 or 5 to get to work on time, so 8 feels like a CRIME.
I'm so tired of living in a world that demands that we build our lives according to these cookie cutter standards, and that sacrifice sleep, and prioritize work time above all else. It's SO toxic. I'm thrilled to see the next generation making better choices, which will filter down AND up.
Thank you for helping more women give themselves permission to respect their bodies and personal work flows. xoxo
