Oh my GOD, I feel this so much. My mom is preparing to sell her house (though don't know how long it will take her to go through with it) and though it isn't my childhood, it's been home since I was 17. That's thirty long years. I am going to be heartbroken to see the end of that home. I wanted to buy it from her someday, but the inflation of the housing market here in the PNW has made that impossible. I'm so sorry.
