OMG, I got my period at 12, too, 7th grade, in January. I was MORTIFIED.

I said the same thing to my mother: "Don't tell Dad."

It just breaks my heart. I'm in perimenopause now and I am struggling with it. I am so angry that I was made to hate my period and now it's going away. And I'm scared and I feel old and useless.

I'm working through it and determined to reclaim it and who I am as a middle aged woman. xoxo
