OMG, yes. I can’t believe how many memes are still going around about how you should be “doing quarantine.” And about how your body should look after. SMH!

Also, as things are getting squirrely in my area, though I’m worried and afraid, I’m also trying to be understanding of those who are forced to close their businesses without rent and mortgage freezes (why wasn’t that part of the lockdown?). A lot of these people are paying their housing bills AND rent on salons, storefronts, etc. and $1,200 — even with unemployment checks — is only a small portion of the average $1,700 rent payment JUST for their homes in this inflated housing market. (Add another $2K minimum for a downtown storefront.)

So…grace, I think, is needed. And giving people space to respond and live in this as they need to. Love this and love you. ❤
