Our culture split Woman in two: the virgin and the whore. Men are just as indoctrinated into this as women are. They want a good wife who only shows JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT of eagerness for sex (meaning only and always being ready when HE wants it and not having too much fun during the act), and they’re taught to condemn anything outside that box. Even though they WANT an unapologetically sexual woman. But they’ve been taught they can only have that with the “whore” — someone who they don’t see as a life partner/wife. A girlfriend they don’t intend to marry, a mistress, etc.

This split is an act of extreme violence that is perpetuated over and over again as we buy into it and it traumatizes all of us, regardless of our gender.
