Roy Batty Thank you so much for this thoughtful response. Sharing fantasies is definitely risky, especially if the expectation is role-play. I think it helps to talk about that before any sharing begins and to be confident enough in ourselves to handle it if our partner doesn’t want to participate.

As a writer/storyteller, fantasies are important to me in the bedroom. I enjoy sharing them (if it feels safe to do so) and I love hearing my partner’s fantasies. I love following the twisting paths of the imagination in any situation, and I love how much enrichment it can bring to one’s sex life. Presuming the partner in question is supportive and open-minded. ;)
