Skip, I really appreciate your openness to this dialogue. It’s so important to me at this stage in my life to normalize anger in women — and hell, to celebrate it, because it’s been repressed for so long!

I really appreciate what you said about being embarrassed to be a man because of the way some men behave. That was very vulnerable and I truly value that insight — the shame that some men might experience because of others’ behavior and how easy it is for our culture to lump everyone into a group and condemn them all. Thank you for sharing that. I will keep that in mind as I go forward in my journey.

And I totally got the humor about the “beating you up” thing — I just wanted to make sure I emphasized that I was not coming here as a confrontation. I simply wanted to guard a space for angry women. :)
