Thank you for writing and sharing this. It is such an important message and you are absolutely right about all of it. I was writing to a male reader recently who was upset about women’s rage and I tried to illustrate the hierarchy of power in our culture and how each step up the rung makes us blinder and blinder because of our privilege. I started writing about how even I, as a white woman, am protected by the patriarchy in some ways — by its white supremacy.
