Thank you so much for sharing your perspectives on my article. To give it context, I wrote it after I severely injured my right shoulder (my dominant arm) and recently have had to struggle just to get through normal, everyday life - even getting dressed has been hard. I decided to let myself get all my feelings and fears out by writing a "what if" letter to the universe.

I ended it with that line about it maybe being the best thing that could happen to me just to emphasize that normally, I love my life. I love being independent, I love being on my own (except for the lack of access to regular sex, LOL).

BTW, my favorite part was about the online dating. I actually use arguments from your articles about why I shouldn't be using them when they give me grief about not being more open-minded. This has given me new fortitude to reconsider how I'm approaching things. <3
