That’s exactly what I’m saying. It’s not about punishment, but self-protection. The laws you are speaking of are terrifying. And really, I see this as our government moving to steal all of our access to healthy sexual relations. For everyone (of all genders). To have the government making such a huge step into our bedrooms…we’ll see how that affects this “democracy.”

Also, don’t forget, we have to start asking men to take on half the responsibility for contraception. It’s far easier, cheaper, less invasive, and more reversible for men to get snipped, and while that’s not the answer for everyone, we have to start putting that on the table, rather than relying on women to take birth control pills or get their tubes tied.
