The incident at the E.R. happened soon after I read your beautiful essay and I couldn’t believe the timing. Putting the two together, I have had a lot of realizations in the past couple of days! ❤

P.S. My therapist would say that blaming ourselves in this situation is an indication of how much love is present in this situation. It’s a small comfort to remember that.
