I listened to French music constantly in college, trying to achieve fluency…didn’t QUITE get there, but it’s all still in my head somewhere. I think I could reboot that.
I actually have been very dedicated to Duolingo while I’ve been studying Welsh (don’t ask…long story). It isn’t the greatest method, I’ll admit, but I was watching a British gardening show a few months ago and when they did an episode in Wales, I actually knew what all the signs said! I couldn’t believe it. LOL. Don’t get me wrong…I’ve yet to even remember how to say “how are you?” but I’ve got plenty of random words in my head now and can at least say what’s truly important to me: Dw i eisiau bara a dwr. (I want bread and water.) ;)
